Looking for a simple, DIY, autumnal craft? I’ve never been particularly crafty myself, but lately I’ve been wanting to try out some seasonal projects. I made toilet paper pumpkins, which aren’t intimidating (or expensive) at all. And, unlike some other fabric pumpkins, you don’t even need to sew! With a few basic craft supplies, you can make a stylish set of pumpkins in just 5 minutes! These toilet paper pumpkins are adorable, festive, and fun to make! So spice up your fall décor with this easy DIY project.

CRAFTING COMPONENTS

Roll(s) of Toilet Paper – We had “mega” rolls on hand already, but any kind will do. You’ll need one roll per pumpkin.

Fabric – You can choose any fabric you like. I got mine at Michaels for about $1.00 each! You’ll need one 18″ x 21″ sheet per pumpkin.

Sticks/Branches – I grabbed a few branches outside, but if you don’t want to forage for sticks, you can use cinnamon sticks instead.

Ribbon – (Optional) This is to resemble the leaves; I used green ribbon.

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1:

Place your fabric print-side down.

Step 2:

Place a roll of TP on top of the fabric. Then, start tucking the fabric into the top of the toilet paper roll until the roll is fully covered.

Step 3:

Either tuck your stick into the toilet paper roll to make the stem of the pumpkin, or tie multiple sticks together with green ribbon.

I double-tied a knot around the sticks. The ribbon keeps them together and also becomes the leaves of the pumpkin!

The best part about this project is that you can unwrap the rolls and save the fabric and sticks for next season.
